Mont Vitry

The brief was to create an outdoor space where people could do physical exercise. Mont Vitry is, then, an urban intervention in Vitry-sur-Seine's transforming neighborhood, the Berges de Seine area, introducing a terraformed hill — a landmark redefining the urban landscape.

This playful hill leads to a panoramic viewpoint, complemented by a pump track for bikers and skateboarders with a looping concrete trail and diverse slopes for tricks. Mont Vitry seamlessly integrates into the evolving urban fabric, offering a new space for people to meet.

This urban intervention was a result of various field research, site analysis and interviews. The area of the Berges de Seine was selected as the place with most potential, incorporating a functional response to the flooding problematic.
