EXPERIENCE

Product and Furniture Design Internship

Urbanmint

Maia, Portugal

While finishing my master's in Engineering and Product Design, I've enrolled on a curricular internship at Urbanmint, a company with the upholstery brand Munna and the furniture and product design brand Ginger & Jagger. This opportunity allowed me to work closely with craftsmen, gaining a deep understanding of the processes behind each piece designed. I was also responsible for creating production sheets and some bespokes from clients, supporting the designers in the studio. By the end of this internship, I developed a new lighting product, with a physical prototype of the approved concept, and corresponding technical sheets.

For the 6th edition of this event, I collaborated with the graphic image design team, where we developed a logo, profile pictures and social media posts and animations for the video format. I was also in charge of the structure and organization of the publicity of the event, as well as direct communication with all participants to establish a textual alignment for future posts in social media.
